Will be visiting miami shortly and wanted some information on what things i can do and visit. The only thing i know as of now that i will be reaching at the FLL airport, and from there i dont know what would i do. Can someone please advise me some places, sightseeing, tours or attractions that i can visit and enjoy my visit?

South Beach
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
Key Biscayne
Coconut Grove
Orange Bowl
University of Miami

(disclaimer - stay away from Liberty City - the metromover/monorail goes through it btw..)

edit: Florida City to the South, before Key Largo, has a glass bottom boat tour, which also has the second African Queen boat - from the movie. The first one was destroyed in the film (if you ever watched it)

Also Key West is 3 hours away, but Marathon is 1/2 the time and they have "Swim with the Dolphins" on an appointment only basis.

Also Everglades has Airboat and Swamp buggy rides if you ever want to see alligators and crocks.

Was that a serious suggestion to go visit UM and the Orange Bowl? What in the heck is there? UM has a little garden, that is about all I can think of. The Bowl is just a stadium, like every other one in the country.
