That's cool. Seems like NBA stars like to appoint themselves as an auxiliary police force in Miami. Shaq was sorta the veritable sheriff of SoBe when he was there. And why not? They're big dudes, and that's all Miami really needs is a few big tough good guys to shout down the creeps occasionally and the whole town is better for it.

Three inches taller than me, yes that is tall. Seems like he cares about people other than himself. I know the feeling, I recently rescued a kitten from US-1 using my truck to stop traffic and grab the fur ball. He's a happy little guy as a pet for a friend's daughter.

Just think about the amount of money you would have to spend on clothes and these tall men usually have circulation problems, but hey if you could make the NBA a career, you could afford it.

Not only Lebron, but many people.

The worst I saw was years ago a duck with its kids was crossing the street, some dork in front of me was too impatient and went ahead on a left turn and ran over a few of them, I was enraged all to heck, still am to this day.

If I wasn't so afraid of having a criminal record, I would have beat that guy within an inch of his life.

Obviously, US1 through downtown Miami and and especially Brickell need to be more pedestrian friendly. Maybe there should be 10-ft posters of Alonso Mourning in front of every crosswalk, pointing at the crosswalk and reminding drivers to yield to pedestrians. What do you all think?

I don't think people know who Alonso is, at least I never heard of him until yesterday.
