Route 441(7th ave.) has always been an eyesore to Miami once you pass the Golden Glades Exchange all the way to downtown. I just wondered if any improvements had been made or are in the process?

Nope, it just got significantly uglier north of the Golden Glades. It now lines a strip of urban blight through Broward County as well as Dade. Now you have to enter Palm Beach County to see anything decent looking on S.R.7.

Doesn't S.R.7. run through Parkland? That is nicer than anything else in South Florida... and it's in Broward County.

Ok, north of the Sawgrass Expressway is better. That one mile stretch through Parkland actually straddles the eastern border with Coconut Creek, although it isn't that bad looking. Still, it's a mile to Palm Beach County.

That's been a poor area for decades. What "improvements' would you like to see?

North or South of the glades? It used to be fairly decent north, now its the ghetto.

Plantation in Broward has tried to improve the area around 441 / sr7 offering grants to businesses and developers to invest in the area. I hope the real estate market doesnt stop this from happening. Grove East Condos on Broward Blvd and 441 looks like an improvement to the area, but who will buy them?
