Hi all,

How is the weather in Miami in late Nov? Temp, water temperature, etc. I am planning a vacation 11/20 to 11/27 to Miami Beach in Miami. My plans are water sports. (going to the beach, jet-skiing, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, etc) Is Late Nov a good time to visit Miami for those activities? I went this past June and i had an amazing time.

I always stay at a vacation apt rental in North Beach Miami. 73rd st Collins Ave

For locals, we tend to find November a bit cold for watersports. November is the start of our cool but comfortable weather. We tend to spend less time on the beach, more so doing other outdoor activities such as hiking and the like. I will even wear a light jacket at night.

That being said, November tends to be in the lows 80s, with occasional days in the 70s. Nights tend to be in the upper 60s, with occasional lows in the 50s. Water temperature is in the mid 70s. If you think all that sounds nice, it maybe for a northerner used to frigid temperatures. However water in the 70s is cold, and takes some time to adjust. And you'll feel cold when you exit.

I live in NYC so 70 degree water temp is cool with me.

Try water temps in the 50s to 60s at NYC/NY beaches

From November to late April, the weather in Miami is next to perfect. Hurricane season come to an end, temperatures averaging in the mid 70's and the bipolar rainstorms stop. It is the best time to visit miami.

For watersports it's not the best time, imo. For example, I'm hardly in the water from November to March. It's in late March when I start braving it.

The best month to visit is March, that's the height of our tourist season due to Ultra, WMC/WMF, and spring break. However that's more for partying than beach-going. If you want strictly the beach, I'd recommend June - October.

The weather in Miami is perfect in November, its one of the months I highly suggest coming to Miami. Weather is good and prices aren't as high as lets say January-April.

I agree with doggiebus. For northerners November is perfect( from New York myself and most of my clientele are seasonal northerners here specifically for the months I mentioned). March is more for the college spring break crowd/ music festival.

November is a great month in Miami... Still comfortably warm, but not "hot" but still warm enough for the beach, watersports, etc. ... highs in the 80s, lows in the 70s.... it all depends on a cold front. If there's no cold front passing through, it'll be warm....if one passes through while you're here...it could be "cool", but never cold.
