It's a safe neighborhood, it's in between Coral Gables and Little Havana.

You're safe.
Is it that little detached house in the back?
I did a Google Earth thingy on it.
I know the area well, not the best of neighborhoods but not bad.
Hey! And you can walk to Versalles for expresso.

It's not bad at all, similar to Coral Terrace. Has a foreign feel though, which may be a shock to you depending on where you're coming from.

Its a very spanish speaking area if you are ok with that then you should be fine. I would consider this area a little gritty lets just say, not very pretty like Coral Gables. But for a month only you should be fine.

I have family in that area and I wouldn't call it unsafe,it's not like a gated neighborhood on a western suburb safe, but it's fine. Also when I visit my family I've driven by that trailer park and it looks so like it needed to be torn down yesterday,it's on 32 ave just south of 8th street.

You are going in the wrong direction!
Your original house was not half bad.
