Drug Lords (Miami: real estate, house, movies)

Ok, I have a question for all the Mimai folks. Do drug lords in Miami have these huge mansions, drive expensive vehicles (Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc), and live an arrogant lifestyle or this all just in the movies

It may seem like a weird question but my friend and I were having a disagreement on this subject. We were watching Bad Boys II yesterday afternoon and he basically said that this is how Miami really is. That you have a bunch of drug lords living very high-profile lifestyles and being somewhat of a local celebrity. On the other hand, I said it was just movie magic. You don't have any drug lords living in extravagant mansions and living over-the-top lifestyles. So who is right?

i would say thats probably true but i dont hang out with drug lords. perhaps theyre the ones driving around in expensive luxury cars at 3-4x the speed of everyone else clearing everyone's bumpers by an inch or two.

Perhaps they are drug lords , or lords over some other type of business cause I can't figure out where the $$$$$$$$ comes from. I do see tow trucks carting out these type of cars alot. i hear alot of these folks are cash poor.

There are drug dealers here who live in mansions and drive exotic cars. There are also people who have ********** businesses like those who commit medicare fraud that also have these mansions and cars. You also have many people who are wealthy because they are doctors, football/baseball players, or have legitimate businesses. Some people have these things because they inherited money and/or homes. There are good and bad people here despite what others say.

The smart crooks don't drive the fancy cars until they use the illegal loot as seed capital to become developers. Then they can show off with impunity. Real estate was more profitable than drug dealing for a while. Then again doctors are kind of drug dealers.....

Your friend is right the drug lords of Miami live really big my uncle is actually one of them I lived with him for a year and never new but his house cost him 3.5 million dollars and he had 3 camaro's 2 corvette stingrays 2 motorcycles and a dodge viper!
