All Hispanic hair cutteries do 'fades'. Afro hair shops, I don't know. I got my hair cut at the Great Clips near the old Brickell Publix. Wonderful Cuban womans named Grecia cut my hair.

Like Cuba Libre said, all local area barber shops in West Miami-Dade do fades, that is Hispanic Urban... but Black Barber Shops, if that is what you meant, are no where to be found in West Dade (Doral).

When I read "urban," I just thought it was a euphemism for "black." Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't know of any black barbershops in Doral; you'd probably have to go to NW Miami or Miami Gardens for that. Also, what is a "fade" ?

Edit: I just did a Google image search on "fade hairstyle." I didn't know that was a "Hispanic" thing at all; seems like plenty of young non-"Hispanic" guys have that style nowadays. I see plenty of Russian, Italian, Arab, and Asian kids with that style around here all of the time. I would imagine any barbershop could do that!

anyone can fade but what I believe he means is an urban cuttery that is on the up and up with the latest urban cuts and so forth.... There is a particular look that he is after and its that that "clean" razor sharp shape up with a 2 or 3 dimensional fader or taper that unless you are a true artist of "urban cuts", one can't achieve. A cuttery, where a straight razor is used to create that sharp edge up..

with that said, I am not sure of any in the doral area so if any of you can direct him to the "spot" as oppose to just an ordinary cuttery....

and for the most part, women cut great hair but they are not so much into the urban style-

and urban has nothing to do with "race". Urban as opposed to "sub-ubs" has more to do

names to consider when referring to urban cuts

short blow out
afro blow out
regular fade
low fade
high top fade
wide mohawk fade
v-cut fade
edge up
shape up
line-up
ceasar

I've blown your cover, yet again. You claim to be from the UK, but if you were posting from the UK, it'd be 4am over there.

I'm sure you had a few people fooled, but not me. I bet your IP address is from the Hialeah area, rather than London (just a guess).
