South of Coral Gables, try Norman Brothers. Fresh from the keys but expensive.

Are they there every day or just certain days? How about the time of day? I live only about 10 minutes from there and I'd be interested in getting some fresh seafood.

Does Grandmas still exist and if so, where is it? My mil went awhile ago and said they were gone. She actually started crying. I'm hoping maybe my fil didn't go to the right street. They're both 82 so maybe they didn't remember where it was exactly. I'd love to be able to let them know its still around.

It's amazing how threads that are 7 months+ old can be dug up with the old search feature. I'm pretty sure the OP found a fish market by now.

Does Arawaks still exist? It was in the stip mall on South Dixie (what is it now, Pinecrest Parkway?) where the Door Store and Dairy Queen used to be (can't remember the cross street). My grandmother used to go there all the time and loved it.

I am not familiar with Arawaks, nothing came up on a google search. So not sure.

I just decided to stick with Captains Tavern Seafood or Whole Foods at this point. I wish we had a market like Seattle has, that would be wonderful.
