I'm a Detroit Tiger fan, not a New York Yankee fan.

I think someone needs a geography lesson. Yankees are Northeast, Michigan is Midwest. Plus we let those stupid names go about 145 years ago and moved on.

I did enjoy "High Enough" and "Coming of Age."

Does anyone else appreciate the irony of the title of this thread as much as I do?

Why is it "Yankee's" with an apostrophe "s"? That usually means a possessive noun.

I've heard of Damn Yankees. Is that what he means? I get so confused by these people with dem smarts.

This is the Michigan forum not the Massachusetts forum. This is the upper midwest, and out here we do not call ourselves yankees. Yankees live in the northeast, get that straight. Why do people down south presist in this error. Not all northern people are the same. We midwesterers have nothing in common with the northeast. I hate having to take this tone with a southerner, as I love the south but you seem to be attacking us for no apparent reason.
