While remain working in Michigan, employment off E I-94 looking for a large apt or small home located directly over the Ohio borderline. Something much closer to the line than Toledo, OH. Perfer a quiet neighborhood for single person.

Question is, what cities lay on the Ohio borderline? Off Us-23 or 275/75?? Something to connect to I-94 quickly.

You can look at a map for this information~Sylvania and Lyons might be your best options. Depending on your definition of "quickly"....these two spots have the most direct highways to 94.

I have lived in the area of the Ohio/Michigan border for many years and your question confuses me a bit. 94 is not close to the border, it is roughly a 40-45 min. drive if you take 23 to 94, the junction of which is in Ann Arbor. If you really need to live on the border, then Lambertville, Ottawa Lake, or Temperance would work, or Sylvania or Toledo on the Ohio side, just plan on driving for a while before you get to 94. Temperance would be the most out of the way of these options, as it is the farthest east of 23 and requires driving on local roads for several minutes to get to the expressway, and Erie is the eastern most border town (really more of a rural township with a tiny town but close to Toledo)and closest to 75, but it is not very convenient to I-94, you would need to take 75 to 275 to 94 which would put you right by Detroit Metro Airport.

When you say "E 94" what does that mean, exactly? That would help in knowing what would be closest for you as well. And there aren't too many places that are closer to the border than Toledo, since it is right on the border. When you cross the border going into Ohio, you are immediately in Toledo.

Would you consider a place such as Dundee or Monroe that are closer to 94 than the border towns? That would shave several minutes off of your commute.
