I just moved to Traverse City and only know a few people. I'm in my mid-20's and would like to meet more people my age. I've heard that Young Professionals Group is pretty big here. Any other groups or clubs that are good? Any other recommendations for me as a new TC resident?

I have a friend who is in that group and they have tons of fun!!!! she is actually leaving the country for a backpacking group for a couple months, but I think the rest of teh people in that group are still pretty cool

I dont live there anymore but there was always something going on at the bars on front street but its been 10 years or so.

I would not normally suggest a bar, but we stayed at the park place last weekend and the bar at the top seemed like a good place to meet nice people. Everyone was so friendly when we were there. There is a guy on a piano and it seemed like a lot of regulars. Also if by some chance you enjoy taking pictures, I have found that photography groups are a good way to meet a lot of people who share the same interest. No need to be great at it or have the best gear. Just plan outings and shoot together and most of the time the photowalks are followed with lunch, coffee or a beer depending on your group.
