It seems like everything I post on here is a request for some info or help or other. I'm pretty greedy.

So, here's what I'm looking for. My sister-in-law is trying very hard to pull together a nice wedding. It's expensive. I've been looking everywhere for places and catering and such and am just shocked at how expensive it is, and what a struggle it has been to find a place that would cater to a smaller group.

Trying to do a decent reception on a budget is possible, but hard, and I thought about a possible service swap/trade. What I mean is, I currently am self-employed. I do business admin, virtual admin, project management, etc. etc. etc. I would like to offer my services as a virtual consultant and whatnot in exchange for reception services - or discounted reception services.

So, perhaps there's a new caterer or florist or photographer out there that needs some back-end, office work, blogging, whatnot but doesn't have time to do it or can't afford to do it. I'd offer a swap of a certain amount of my time for discounts or services or whatever from them.

Is it possible? I mean - barter and trade, that's been around forever. That's a lot of what's happening on Craigslist and Freecycle. I just want to see if I could do it to help ease the cost of the reception.

So, if you are or know anyone that would want to possibly do a services swap, please send me a message. I have plenty of experience, education and qualifications on my end.

Florists, Venues, Caterers, Bakeries, Rental Places (chairs, dishes, etc.), Printers, Musicians, Photographers...and anything else that goes along with a reception.

Thanks so much!
