... to be closer to family. I've been living in NYC and environs for last 25 years. Got divorced last year and want to move closer to family (the majority of them live in the greater detroit area). 3 of my 4 kids are in HS (the oldest has left the nest), and it's possible that my youngest, since she's only a freshman, may live with me. So, HS's are important.

I dont know much about the Detroit area, but I think youll have tons of people mention Ann Arbor. I think its a pretty big arts town.
