There is a lot of anger and outrage over the endorsements of candidates for the November election by the VFW PAC (Political Action Committee). There are some names on that list who are not popular with VFW members and the claim has been made the PAC did not follow established procedures for determining who is, or is not, worthy of support with the voluntary contributions of VFW members.
But, are those claims justified? Is there just cause for such anger? Should the VFW have endorsed such candidates as Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barbara Boxer?
Why, or why not?
Personally, I don't care which party a candidate comes from or whether or not they have the "right" ideology. What I care about is supporting those who support our Veteran's and active duty personnel.
