Any WWII buffs who know anything about the 118th Company H? (stationed, home)

Recently came into possession of some old letters my grandfather wrote home to his mother while stationed in England during the war.

He literally died the day before DDay and I'm trying to learn more about where he might have been and what he might have been doing.

For anyone interested enough to respond I do know too that he died in a Taunton England hospital.
