If the military wanted you to have a girlfriend, then they would have issued you one! Also, you need to lose the term "pretty" when referring to males.

Hey i like it. You've gone from pretty boy (that is used as an insult in some circles) to a man who commands respect.

If your girl dont like it then you'll have no problem finding a girl who love a man in uniform.

Oh, yeah, yeah - I totally agree! I was using the expression sorta tongue in cheek! Any more votes, just for fun? I'm a very strong person and can take a bit of ribbing. I've had to in my profession!

Who cares if she likes it? If that's all that keeps her you don't need her. She should be proud of what you have accomplished and what you are doing.

Besides, the uniform alone will be enough to make the girls swoon!

Sweetie, you turned into a real man and some chicks can't handle real men. And you notice I said CHICKS not WOMEN. Move on and find a better one. There are plenty of us out there who like MILITARY MEN and the way they act, look, and dress.

Just found this thread today, and the pix in David's posting didn't work, so I managed to fix them.

David: You look fine, thank you for serving. Stay safe.

I was stationed at Ft. Hood.......

A loooooooong time before you were even born...

And my girlfriend at the time sent me a Dear John letter while I was going through basic...Talk about a bummer...LOL

And thanks for your service to your country..

The future is all yours friend, now that you grabbed the bull by the horns and got three legs all tied, its time to move on...That is what I did when I went into the Marines about 26 years ago...New life, new friends, bright future. Although I got out after 9+ years, I still continued to move forward and not look back.

Just my thoughts, what you decide to do with your life is totally up to you.
