Hello everyone,

A friend of mine just found out that she qualified for energy assistance. She's been laid off for a while now. She thought that she would receive more than the $300 for the whole season. She has a whole house to heat. She thought she would receive much more. Has anyone else had this experience?

Thank you.

Not personal experience, but from what I get from the access.wi. website, about the most you can get for energy assistance is $400 or so. Not much when heat costs $1200 a season or more.
