Hello, this question is specifically for people in the Oak Creek area but anybody in the Milwaukee can feel free to help. I'm planning on moving in August and I'm looking at some apartments that don't include any utilities in the rent. So I'm trying to get a feel for how the utilities bill would like every month for just a single person. The place is only 784 sq ft and they are brand new apartments. I'm hoping that for a single person and his dog, the heating or cooling bills shouldn't be too hefty. Also very curious to see how the water bill turns out. Any insight from somebody in a similar situation? I'd really appreciate the help.

If you are lucky to find an apartment with heat included, but you pay gas and electric your monthly bill in the winter could be between $35-55 per month.

In the summer, if you run the air, it could get to $55-80 per month.

Water bill is usually between $32-38 per month.

Can't you call the utility companies, give them the address you're considering (a specific unit), and ask them what the average monthly bill is?
Or are they that brand new that no one's ever lived in them yet?

The size of the aparment doesn't matter per se.. it's the age of the a/c and water heater.

As long as you can give them a specific/full address there shouldn't be a problem.

Good luck!
