Sure, he spoke at other candidate rallies when they were running, but that's the norm. Having hooting, hollering, look at me, look at me, I'm great, whoop things like this dude is not normal for either party. Obama didn't, Bush I and II didn't, Reagan didn't, Clinton didn't.
Seems like something Teddy Roosevelt would have done though. That man was a living legend though.

Roosevelt was shot in Milwaukee before a campaign speech.

If you follow the business news you'll notice this is more of just a ploy, a bargaining chip for a cutout exemption. I don't blame Harley for trying it or threatening jobs. It works sometimes, IE Mercury Marine. There is clearly more to the story than just Tariffs, the timelines just don't add up for it to be the only reason.
Do you have a link that provides the pay of all Harley employees?

And proceeded to give the speech anyway!

Fortunately for America, Obama turned out to be a lazy ideologue. He really did not like to work that much. Again- that turned out be good as it limited the damage.
Pretty much he has no legacy now.

Trump was not in WI to get accolades but to acknowledge and celebrate delivery on a promise. You can debate the pros and cons of the promise. If one is honest, there has to be acknowledgement that he works pretty hard, knows he has limited time to actually get things done and is motivated. I also believe this administration understands the value of ongoing motivation for the hard core Trump supporter.

He wants to get reelected and WI is a swing state. It makes sense to swing through once in a while.

There's no such thing as a president who doesn't like to work too much. And this even includes Trump, who is used to delegating a variety of tasks to other people. Whether you love or hate Trump or Obama or the Bushes or Clinton or any other modern president, it doesn't matter--they're working their buns off and the job is ultra stressful. What we see/hear on tv and other media is just a sliver of what they're doing. Any attempt to declare otherwise is simply partisan blindness.

Obama didn't like to work? Huh, well, he was blocked at everything he tried to do by the party of just say no to everything, he sure tried theough. Trump's vacations has blown away Obama's, it isn't even close. Last I saw, Trump is on schedule to vacation in 2 years as much as Obama did in 8. (That said, if anyone has actually read what being a President is like, their "downtime" is busier than almost everyone else.)

So you have to admit Trump REALLY hates working. I mean, if you're consistent.

What promise is he celebrating? Corporate welfare? Or hurting the working class? Both? I'm not clear.
