Hello all,
My husband and I are looking to relocate as it appears there are much better professional opportunities for us in the Twin Cities as opposed to our current location, northwest Arkansas. My husband has a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management and is bilingual (he is from South America) and has been an interpreter for many years, although not certified formally.

Can any of you speak to the corporations or sectors that would be most likely to utilize his skills? He would like to get with an entity that would, in another couple of years, support him pursuing his graduate degree.

Can you also speak to the salary that we can expect for the Twin Cities metro area?

I am a social worker and have a good idea of the range I can expect but I have no idea for his area and need to see if I can get an idea to help with planning.

Thanks in advance!

Are you sure he can't find something with Tyson, or one of the myriad of Walmart Vendors? They are always in need of supply chain employees.

That said entry level is probably 60Kish, manager level is $100-130K? Plenty of job prospects. As far corporations, just research the F500 list, we have about 20 of them here. I'm a supply chain professional.

Thank you. Yes, there are options with those companies. Right now, however, I am the higher wage earner and there are no further options for me in this area. There are other extenuating circumstances that are leading us out of this area as well. I will pass the info on to him. Thank you!
