No, not voting sends NO message....how would they know you didn't vote?

Horner is a Republican...

HIS firm took taxpayer money, with Pawlenty's help, to improve the PR of DOT after the bridge collapse.
Then Pawlenty gave him another 100 grand as a BONUS because the CONSTRUCTION got done on time....$100,000 of our money for something another company did ...and Horner thinks there's nothing wrong with that.

If you look at the whole picture there most likely wasn't anything shady about what took place. You just effectively reframed it in a way that makes him look like a crook by leaving out important details of the story. Have you ever thought about going into negative political ad writing?

Don't put much faith into what polls are saying.

A few days ago the media was touting a MPR poll that showed Dayton with a 13 point lead.

Today they're touting a different, more reliable poll ( according to them) that shows the Gov race a dead heat.

I was planning to vote for Horner, but that might still get changed to an "against Dayton" vote for Emmer instead.

Damnit, don't give up on Horner! If people stop having that boneheaded 2 party system mentality more solid independant party candidates like him would get elected.

My first choice would have been either Margaret Keiliher-Anderson or RT Rybak, but of course Dayton ended up prevailing. I've given thought to voting for Horner, as I've voted for several other Independant candidates (Tim Penny, Peter Hutchinson). I'm now deciding if my dislike for Emmer is strong enough for me to vote for Dayton.

Don't vote for the lesser of two evils. A lesser evil is still evil. Vote your conscience. Neither party is any good.

True, it's like that episode of the Simpsons where both Democratic and Republican candidates Bill Clinton and Bob Dole are both evil aliens and due to our 2 party mentality even after it is revealed that they are both aliens wanting to rule the world the public still votes one of them in.

Emmer's an unintelligent slimeball- he's an extremist that would do great damage to our already-damaged state. I highly encourage anyone that's planning to vote for him to reconsider.

I actually kind of like Horner and a lot of his viewpoints, and probably wouldn't mind him as governor- but I also like Dayton, and as someone that used to rail against people that would pressure me to vote for one of the major party candidates versus "throwing away my vote" on a third party, I couldn't in good conscience vote for Horner knowing it had the potential to help Emmer out.

Out of curiosity, where has Horner been at in the polls lately?

I think Horner lost about 10 points in the polls right after Jesse Ventura told channel 4 that he was endorsing him.
