Why I don't like Mississippi (Forest, West: colleges, authority, manufacturing)

Perhaps the people who visit The State of Mississippi, really don't care either, right ? but that doesn't halt people's opinions about their own perceptions and experiences...nor should they be implicitly asked for their silence or agreement. Come into the light of living in America, not simply living the "Mississippi way". There really are 49 other great states as well.

You ever notice that the more "elite" the college, the more there is a tendency of the professors to know it all? Those university professors are themselves products of nothing more than "elite university" indoctrination.

Or they get hired by CNN or CBS where their credentials are flashed beneath their name while they find fault with every tradition and moral value in the world.

And the Liberal Press is born and reborn.

I sometimes wonder how the world would improve if college professors were only allowed to teach for 10 years, and the minimum age for admission to college was 25.

Yes. What Listener said. I wonder, what would the "Socially Inadequate", do without Mississippi? Mississippi is like a gift. A reason for them to get up in the morning, pat themselves on the back, and gnash their their teeth with self-righteous indignation.

I don't make your case at all, I said things that you don't like so you will make up stuff to make your case. What you have done is hyperbole and put words in my mouth. Something people tend to learn to identify and not do with a formal education.

Knowledge is where you find it. That includes the places you rail against. Pointing that out does not give you license to assume things about me or make up things about what I said. If you can not see the clear meaning of my words, it says more about you than you think it says about me.

As a southerner, who is also a conservative patriot, man of faith, who has served this Nation and my community....who is an Ivy League man, I know a few things you only think you do. The first is who I am and what I believe. The second is the actual condition on the ground at an Ivy League school.

Where does your great knowledge come from to lambaste such things come from? Experience? Can you not see the irony of taking that stand against someone with experience where you have none?
