The one-lane bridge used in the movie was open until about 30 years or so ago, it was near Greenwood (Sidon) and was interesting crossing it!

Listener, although her bio states she is from "Chickasaw County, MS" she mostly grew up (until early teens) in Greenwood. There are still a few people who remember her from back then. The last I heard, she lives near Memphis (obviously that could be in the Desoto County area).
