Hi -

I have been intrigued by the work done at Shipyards and am exploring possibilities in Industrial Engineering.

Does anybody have family/friends who work at any of the shipyards? How do they like it? Benefits/Salary?

I'm just trying to get a feel for the line of work and learn what I can about the industry to see if it is something I would enjoy doing.

Any insight would be greatly beneficial and appreciated.

Thanks!

I know nothing about the Eng. work, but the crafts run around $21/hr. They have had billboard advertising help wanted and posted that rate.
