We've recently rescued a 11 month old male Bichon Frise from a woman who was going to take him to the local pound, which is a small squared area surrounded by chain-link fencing and which the dogs are not separated or monitored. He is house broken and is not fixed. He has papers for the American Pet Registry, but has not been sent in yet. He is a well behaved dog and loves attention and loves to have his head scratched. I am not trying to sell him, but to give him for free to someone who would love to have him. Please let me know if you are interested in him, or know someone else who is.

I hope you are successful in your search. Hopefully Latetotheparty will respond, she has experience in this area and may know someone who is looking for that breed.

Bichon Frise Rescue Groups

this ^^ is EXACTLY what i was going to suggest.....

the bichon is a pretty popular breed these days.... hopefully, a rescue will be able to take him off your hands and find him a good forever home.....

it may involve a little travel on your part .... but if that is completely out of the question, the rescue should be able to set up a volunteer transport for him.... may not happen overnight, but with patience and persistence, i am sure he will be on his way to a better situation soon.....

thank you for taking him in and not allowing him to go into the shelter system.....

feel free to dm me if I can be of further help...... or just moral support....
