I must take extreme care in my comment to avoid shunning from moderator(s)

I admit a bias.

I did depart my home state of California (CA) in 1993 to flee an invasion and the resultant horrid negatives regarding economics, social conditions, crime rates, etc.

Departing California in many ways I re-entered the USA.

Sadly, around three years after entering Nebraska with wages increasing for those in my socio-economic group and rental costs close to 50 percent less than in CA, along with a much-reduced rate and cost of social "welfare" and increased availability to USA citizen/taxpayers who needed some assistance, I noticed an obvious increase of.... uhhhh... must be politically correct as I have learned years ago!!!!! Oh!!!!! AN increase in "future possible citizens" and the rise of the negatives (few if any positives I have ever noted but I did not ever take advantage of them to increase my personal wealth... for various reasons).

When I departed Nebraska for Missouri in 1997 it was not to flee horrors as I did in CA but the uhhhhhh........ intrusion was a PARTIAL assistance in the decision.

Anyway, I HAVE noted a SMALL increase.............. Note to those who have not spent decades immersed in the "guests" experience allows one to fairly accurately identify who the "guests" are and not. Also, do your own research; peek at the allowable numbers per year of legal entrants allowed from below out southern border. It would take well over a century to equate the number of new "guests" arriving yearly. YOU do the math...................... a small increase in "guests."

Once, IF, a "critical mass" is attained notice what has been an eventuality in other areas I resided.

Attitudes and behaviors changed negatively with the "guests" becoming much more assertive AND demanding that others accept and to an extent adopt THEIR cultural norms, no matter how unacceptable those are to you.

To save writing space I urge those interested to utilize the Web and access a message board (the most informative based in CA) with posters residing in areas with either high or majority populations of "guests."

That's enough about a topic I could write for many hours about.

Please realize the USA mass media has "fallen" and failed (purposefully, I believe) to inform the USA of the REALITY of the situation.

The local media has also failed, badly, along with the media within Nebraska.

There are ample Web resources, many without undue bias one way ot the other and SOME with NO apparent bias ("just the facts, ma'am").

BigRed, I completely agree with you. I did my time in San Diego and Los Angeles. People just don't understand how serious this problem is unless you've lived in CA, AZ, NM or TX. As you saw with Nebraska it spreads quick. Take a look at Kansas, many towns are 50% guests as you put it. Not exactly what you would have seen 25 years ago. It'll be that way all across the US soon enough unless something changes.
