I recently moved to Carthage a year ago next Thursday. I have been going through some marital issues and am needing some direction. I am currently in a house that I rent from Charles Burt. I pay $775 in rent and my lease is up this month. I am currently doing things on my own for me and my two kids (7 months now). I cannot afford this rent or I would sign another lease.

Do I have to live in Carthage for them to stay in the Carthage school district or can we live in Joplin? I am having a difficult time finding anything to rent that I can afford in Carthage, but my kids are doing so well I wont move schools.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
