So I'm moving to Columbia in a few weeks. I picked out a great little apartment at the edge of town, and everything's been going great. Except now I find out it's not technically in Columbia's city limits, and according to Google Maps it's in its own little teensy town called Furner...

I haven't been able to find any information whatsoever about this. It really just seems to be this tiny patch of land right up against the city limits. It's like the limits get right up to it, scoot around it, and keep going! It's so strange! Can anybody tell me what this is about? I was so excited about moving, and now I'm just kind of nervous. Help!

That's where we make all the furners live until we know whether to let 'em stay.

Seriously, I never heard of it so I googled it, and found out where it is and such, mostly from Moderator cut: link removed, linking to competitors sites is not allowed. Looks like it's a little south of the intersection of Scott and Chapel Hill so it's not like you're in the middle of nowhere.
