You signed the lease? I had you pictured as more of a nail shop or Kirby vacuum distributor.

It's always amusing how people freak out when a new chain restaurant opens in their city. It seems Mobile has entered the 20th. Century!

See Shane's Rib Shack on Airport - It has a black eye. I would NEVER invest money again into the Mobile Economy. Been there and tried that and it is a terrible place to start a business.

Ummmm just because Shane's didn't make it, that does not mean that Mobile is a bad place for business. The Brick Pit, Rogers BBq, J.Rogers BBq, Dick Russells Bbq, The Shed BBQ and Blues, Saucy Q Bbq, Moe's Bbq, and others have done well and they are not on one of the BUSIEST hwys in the state ' Airport Blvd .If your busniess could not survive Airport then it is either the quality of the food or customer service. The places I have named are older with the exception of Moe's BBQ and they are doing well downtown! Sooooooo maybe the taste quality is bad at Shane's . Mirko opened their first Alabama chain in Mobile and they have grossed more than the Atlanta restaurants and that is where the chain is based out of. The owner will be opening a second location across the bay. opening a business can be risk and I applaud you for taking the risk but the success of your business is not Mobile`s fault. I hope you find success in other areas though.

LU LU' s in Gulfshores had a lost when she started out but once she found the problem the rest is history! I mean Mobile has new restaurants popping up all over the place. So the Mobile business climate is good and thriving.

#2 in Econ growth potential and the business is on one of the busiest hwys in the state/ region and your business has a black eye?! Again that is not the city's fault.

After a little over a year in an area that has a plethora of chain restaurants, I've really been missing places like Mediterranean Sandwich Co., Moe's BBQ and Jerusalem Cafe.

For good Mexican, Fuego was good. Los Arcos on University has good Mexican as well as Indian/Costa Rican fusion.

Instead of running for the border, I miss running to Los Tacos on Hillcrest (or Hwy 98 in Daphne).

I actually like Chipotle. They're fine for what they are.
