Does anyone have any comments regarding Timber Ridge Apartments? What are they like? Are they reasonably safe? Are the renters pretty nice people? Do the staff keep the buildings up & running? Thank you!

I lived there back in 2002-03 and enjoyed it. The apartments were pretty new then (built in '98) so everything worked and was nice and clean. They're strict about outside cleanliness, so you won't see towels hanging outside or anything like that. Holiday decorations are not allowed either. Cable TV is mandatory and is included in the rent. The gym looked very nice, although I never used it. The neighbors all pretty much kept to themselves and minded their own business. I never experienced any unbearably loud noises. The only noise that annoyed me was the guy who lived above me walking, he was heavy set and stomped when he walked. All in all, I recommend it.

Another thing I liked about Timber Ridge is the way it is at the end of a dead end road, so there is no heavy traffic close to the apartments. In fact, most people don't even know the apartments are there unless someone tells them. It feels somewhat secluded. The living rooms are big, you could fit a sofa, loveseat, and a chair. The kitchens have "whitewash" cabinets (pickled oak?) and a micowave built in over the stove. The washer and dryer hookups are in the bathroom, and the bathrooms are big too. If you prefer vaulted ceilings, ask for a upstairs unit. When I lived there they used to give out those big muffins in the mornings, not sure of they still do.

W/D hook ups in the bathroom sounds weird. I would want that in my guest bathroom.
