Looks like a section of Mobile Commerce Park is about to built up, 3 properties along Commerce Boulevard West are up for rezoning from B-5 to I-2 for two new developments, a 100,000 square foot warehouse building and a 25,000 square foot warehousing. As a reminder, Mobile Commerce Park is off of Rangeline Rd and part of the undeveloped portions will be in the Todd Acre Logistics Park although this is a separate set of developments being done by Pinnacle who now owns the rest of the Mobile Commerce Park that's not part of the Todd Acres Logistics Park

Also a 52 unit senior housing development is being proposed near the intersection of Girby Rd and Knollwood where the the hospital used to be

There's still plenty of land to be developed in that area, this development is only taking up about 5 acres of the total 35ish acres on the site

Mobile County just had its best month in 16 years when it comes to Single-Family Building Permits issued. 149 Single Family Building Permits were issued in Mobile County for Jan 2024, the highest since April of 2008. Unincorporated Mobile County had a whopping 98 building permits issued, Mobile proper with 26 and Prichard with 14 and rest going to other municipalities in the county

Jefferson County also had 149, which historically had 75% more permits than MC, 105 for Lee County which normally has 75% more

Madison and Baldwin had 280 and 229 permits, both of which normally has 4x more than Mobile County. So Ratio wise Mobile is doing really, really well vs the historical average

White Spunner is clearing the land for D&B. I hope they preserve the palms that were removed to be replanted,if that's possible.

That’s awesome and I’m not sure what they will do with palms, they didn’t make it public of what the landscape plan will be, the only plants they noted on their site plan is that the oaks along the side street will remain where they are
