Here is an article about a recent avalanche event triggered by a guy who was high marking on a snow mobile in an avalanche area.

I just want to point out to those vacationing in the snow that you risk not only your life, but those of others in the area when you trigger an avalanche.

Even if you know your stuff you still could get caught up in a avalanche.
I use to trigger avalanches and do rescue work.

If your going to ride in the back country stop by and read this site before you head out.
