Well, since the main body of water is the Pacific Ocean, no, it hasn't gone anywhere. If you are referring to something else like the drinking water, we still have it as well. As a visitor you won't really notice it.

But does it effect the state as a whole? Of course, as with any drought we could always use more rain. The snow pack is mostly non-existent in the Sierra range.

Haha, Oh, ok, sorry. You are referring specifically to McWay Falls which flows into the Pacific. It was hard to tell from the post. It was still flowing last time I saw it which wasn't too long ago. Of course some recent rain always helps. I shot this a couple of months ago, before we had any rain. Best time to shoot is in the later part of the afternoon when the sun is hitting the falls and cliffs, BTW.

Yeah, you caught our first set of stormy skies and rain since our drought conditions and sunny days without end. We really need the water. But I know its not always best for vacations. Hopefully you'll catch a few breaks in the storm.

This morning is beautiful and sunny. I'm going to get there out and do some photography. I don't know if you are still in the area. But if so take advantage of it and go.
