Try asking for a soft drink (liqueur douce). And suspending disbelief for a moment, club soda is just another name for soda water.

But he's from out of province. Would they extend that discount to him?

yes, Quebec has a reciprocity agreement with California for discounted roast beef. I took advantage of it last year when I went to San Diego.

Does anyone know where i can buy meatballs? I cant find any here in montreal. Went to metro supermarket and another big one and dont see any. Im talking about meatballs like shadybrook farms in the usa.

IfMeatballs arent hard to make, just buy some hamburger,shape into balls and drop in frying pan brown on all sides.put on plate and smother with your favorite sauce.
