I think with the way you understand things you will probably make a great career in "Le journal de Montreal" i never mentioned the word "Russian" i said " own community". i should stop my explanation here ...it's so clear.
Some new immigrant jump blindly into their community thinking they would get help but in the end of the day what they get is only trouble.
EX: selling to you their old furnitures in an expensive price without telling you that you can get them cheaper else where.
usually people are more careful when they deal with other nationalities than their own ..and this is a common mistake.
What are you babbling about? The poster specifically asked for 'Russian', so I tried to answer the question.
Jazzz, I agree with you. I'm not planning to get trapped in Russian community, but also it's important for me to keep close with them/or at least to know in which part of the city they live. I don't trust anyone other then myself. Don't get me wrong I do have Russian friends and all, but still. if its not a childhood friend, can't fully be trusted. Thanks very much for your input!
Ok, so probably ll be moving to Montreal. Is the area close to Guy-Concordia safe? which neighborhoods should I have to avoid ?
also, confused about driver's licence, have G1 in Ontario, can I exchange, or should I have to take the test again ?
Hello! I moved to Montreal with G1 from Ontario, i had to pass the exams one more time, to receive the Quebec driver's licence. (I would advise you to pass the practic test in Longueuil).
About russian community, they are starting from Metro Snowdon all the way down to Cote Saint Luc. (Their main forum is Razgovory - Russian immigrants community)
