The NBA would be foolish to not expand to Montreal soon, everyone continues to talk about our amazing crowds and how we deserve a team. Pre-season games here sell out and more and more people are starting to realize that.

We have the backers and money here, that's not the issue. NBA has just been sleeping on Montreal and Canada as a whole.
Don't get me wrong. I would love to see an NBA team in Montreal but based on the the successful expansion of the NHL into Vegas and Seattle that is where the NBA is going next.

The Kings will likely eventually move to Vegas. That's where the Maloofs are most comfortable. Seattle, like Vancouver, for various reasons could not hold on to their NBA teams. I am skeptical the NBA will revisit the Pacific Northwest anytime soon. That said, there are still other potential markets the NBA could tap into so Montreal may be in the running but will have competition for any expansion team.
Is the Toronto arena where the Raptors play nicknamed “the Boucherie”?
It's Toronto, so no.
