Thats a good amount of cash, I can see seat warmers at Mountaineer Field! Obviously just kidding, but a University could do a lot with money like that and really impact the atmosphere there and around the state.

One thing this is going to do is position the WVU Engineering School among the top 3 or 4 in the country in terms of research software. They will be positioned to work with the top of the line.

CT, it's my understanding that the software donation was an in-kind gift worth over $400 mil and is separate from the State of Minds campaign, which would make that $538 mil figure even more astounding. I could be wrong, though.

Back to the campaign: you can go to the website and see each College/School fundraising goals. Further explanation of some projects can be found in the College/School's Strategic Plans (part of the University's 2020 Strategic Plan for the Future) found here. Check out the new building outlined in the College of Business and Economic's plan! It'll be between B&E and Life Sciences adjacent to the bend in University Ave (currently a parking lot). I can't wait to see this one done!
