I've heard in the last week from 3 different people that a Planet Fitness is coming to Morgantown. Ive been told Pt Marion Rd which makes little sense if you ask me. Is it possible this could be in the new Pierpont Development? Does anyone know anything more about whether its actually coming?
It's an anchor of the new Ft. Pierpont development behind Lowe's at the Pierpont Center. It is definitely coming, but I don't know when it is slated to open.
I don't care WHERE they come to in Morgantown - just ecstatic to know that they are coming!!! Yeeeeeha!

Club 24 just let me do a one month sign-up for $35 and no initial fee...Planet Fitness is sort of a joke depending on what you want to do there. I don't exactly like the idea of pizza Friday and Bagel Tuesday at my gym.
There is now a Morgantown PF page on PF's main website. They say there is a presale event coming soon and list hours, but no dates yet. When the bridgeport store opened, we were able to join about a month before they opened. With the holiday season coming, they will be open in time to have gift certificates for Christmas, as well as catch the new year's resolution crowd. I can't wait! I hope they have the Red Light booth and hydro massage tables. Some of the PFs even do haircuts! and all included for the 19.99 a month (yes you can do basic for $10, but for 9.99 more you get tanning, guest privileges, discounts, massage chairs and hydromassage tables).
I have missed being close to one!
