I need a recommendation for a broker or lender that can help us sort out the best mortgage option for our situation. We will be relocating from the midwest to the east coast. My husband and I have been saving for years for our next house, but it looks like money doesn't go as far in Maryland as it does in Indiana. We are building a house that will be completed at the end of October and we are able to put approximately 8 percent down on the house. Both my husband and I's credit are in the upper 600s or low 700s depending on the credit reporting agency.

We have been pre-approved for an FHA loan from two lenders but we aren't happy with their fees and the people we've been working with.

Can anyone recommend a personable and reputable broker that can do loans in Maryland?

Thank you!
