I need help. I applied for a FHA loan on a house that was to much and my dti was to high so tha loan was denied, so my loan officer told me to find a house at a lower price, which i did, i was approved through same lender and receive commitment letter, now the problem is when the underwriter is clearing the conditions in the system to give a clear to close the system is flagging my name to the old denied loan, he doesn't no how to get around it, and has put numerous calls into HUD, this is holding up my closing, any ideas how to remove a old denied loan from HUD FHA system. HELP Please..!!

The original underwriter's credit analysis worksheet stating the reasons for rejecting you should be included in the new case binder, if the new (or same) underwriter approves the new application, then the new case binder must contain the original denied worksheet with comments from the new approving underwriter. This is the same lender not knowing how to fix what they initially started? Aye ya...
