We are scheduled to close this Friday 7/28. I just got the initial closing disclosure and the seller is completely wrong. Is this going to cause a delay in closing?

What is wrong? The disclosure only pertains to government fees, lender fees and title fees. The seller doesn't have any part of preparing the CD, that is between the lender and title. All escrows, prepaids, impounds and items in Section H can change up until the day of closing. But you were told correct, if it's not signed and back by midnight tomorrow night, you won't be closing on Friday. You do have tomorrow to get square on this.
Literally the seller? As in their name? If so, that can be fixed.
If not, SmartMoney told you pretty much everything else. Sections A-E typically cannot change, sections F-K can change.

The seller is a completely wrong name. They were the previous owners to who is selling the home now.

As the previous posters noted this is not an issue. It should be fixed at escrow prior to the loan closing. Sometimes the title company and/or escrow attorney makes an error when reviewing the vesting of a property. Small potatoes.
Thanks! You all have put me a little at ease. I may never move again after all of this stress!
