Can someone please give me guesstimates on the amount per month total cost would be if you bought a house at this price with 20% down? Including taxes and insurance.

Thanks!

Impossible to do without knowing what interest rate you qualify for. Also, the taxes from town to town in NJ can vary greatly and could make a huge difference!

Holy cow! What kind of a loan? What interest rate? What town and what are the taxes? Insurance is based on the type of house you have and where it is, etc.

You would need to contact a local mortgage professional to target the towns you are interested in and what type of loan you would qualify for to estimate your payments.

Default It is expensive

Alright I will tell you what we paid. The house cost $485000. We had 10% down and two loans (main loan for 6.125 interest and the other 7.25% interest on the Heloc) . Our mortgage was $2900 a month, plus $500 property tax, plus $100 insurance. Approx $3500 a month. This was NortherNJ and we bought in Dec 2005. We since sold that house for a small profit and live now in MA in a similar situation.
Oh and by the way....the house was a 40 year old split, 3 BDR, 1 1/2 Bath on a quarter of an acre in a top rated school district.
