Suzuki has patented a device that will help modern vehicles’ sensors to actually see the motorcycle. So sad people need this because they can’t be bothered to keep their eyes on the road instead of their phone.

i hope something like this comes out. with cities and population growing means more traffic; which usually means more inconsiderate drivers, more people on their phones, and more people driving like maniacs.

its pretty often I encounter drivers who do not see me or see me in the last min. esp on cars merging and/or cars making a left turn.

80% of the time, when they are ready to go in front of me and/or see me in the last min, they are on their phones (mostly women no offense) but for some reason its mostly them

It sounds like a good idea, but this is the part that will kill it:

" It also may make things easier for traffic cops on speed trap duty."

Boy-Racers will be stripping all the stuff off, or buying a Honda.

I've noticed this too. But maybe because I tend to look at women more often. And not just on the road. Women can't seem to put down the phone.

A cheap low tech signal booster sounds like a great plan to me.......utilize all those sensors on cars popping up all over......if the cop has Lidar or instant on the better visibility won't make any difference.......
