Check out Jet Li's first movie "Shaolin Temple". He was like 19yrs old at the time. Some very good fight scenes. This scene is probably the best known scene in kung fu movie history.

Yeah, I have to agree with Lao on this one. It is a decent scene but even the following scene is better known in the US:

I wouldn't know but you are Asian so I take your word for it. Besides you seem to dig Japanese women so you are automatically cool in my book!

I wish I could find a Japanese cutie in my neck of the woods!

I still doubt that dude. While the scene is good, its just basic run of the mill standard wushu stuff.

I did like the Faan Zi fist form he did. It's not seen much in movies and always a pleasure to watch.

Jet was in top form in those days and he was awesome.

I still prefer Hsiao Ho. He was amazing and played the best Fong Shiyu ever, though Jet's was also great.

While that scene isn't the best scene, it is what brought back the revival or restoration of the shaolin temple in China. They were forgotten for a long time until that movie came out in 1982 that brought awareness to it. That is why many people in Asia remember it. Personally, i think there a ton of scenes better than that, but the impact was enormous. Jet Li started to do promos about the history of Shaolin, etc. off screen.
