This is for all of you who grew up on those Kung Fu Gold theater movies back in the 80's. I'am sure you'll remember this famous Bruce Lee imitator Bruce Li.
I was 10 years old when I saw my first Bruce Lee movie. After that I really got started in martial arts and got my Black Belt in Taekwondo at the age of 15. I've always been impressed with Bruce Lee.
The funniest "imitation" of Bruce Lee ever is the one done by Jet Li in the remake of Fist of Fury, Fist of Legend. Seeing Jet Li trying to do Jeet Kune Do was kind of hilarious. The key to Jeet Kune Do is fluidity, and after decades of training in various forms of Kung Fu and Wushu, fluidity is not really one of Jet Li's strong points. Don't get me wrong, I have an astounding amount of respect for Jet Li as a martial artist, but nobody can come close to Bruce Lee when it comes to style.
