Forgetting Sarah Marshall was not clean. Isn't that the movie where Jason Seagal shows his junk and ends up in Hawaii where his ex is messing around with a rock star and he gets together with Mila Kunis? I don't think you remember that movie clearly. It wasn't clean, but it was funny.

Can a movie be funny without being dirty? Yes, it has the word Muppets in the title.

Philomena had some very funny parts, although there was a tragedy weaved through the plot.
Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa was fairly clean, and funny.
Quartet: The rundown on naughties in this film...
F**k is used four times but one is hardly heard and you are warned each time they say the word.
Tw*t is used once. S**t is used a couple of times. T*ts is used once. P*ss is used once.
Wilf asks a waitress is she is up for some "rumpy pumpy" partially in French. She doesn't understand and laughs.
Wilf says to Sissy that she has the nicest t*ts he's ever seen. So really not that bad...
Brave: Yes it's an animated movie, but I still liked it. My favorite animated movie since UP!

A lot of cartoons can be funny, but I agree it's very difficult.

I like a stupid comedy as much as the next guy, but frankly I am over the raunchy sex/drug comedies. It seems Hollywood can't find any other way to be funny these days. Movie 43, We Are the Millers, This is the End, Over 21....been there done that.

I thought of one the other day... Maverick. One of my favorites to make me laugh, not really dirty. A good blend of various humorous elements and Mel does a good job.

I think it's become pretty hard to find funny movies of any kind, no matter the rating.

Alas, the 1930s-1940s will never come again.

As I said, The Muppets are clean comedies. Other than that, I cannot say what movies are truly funny without being even a little dirty.

Sadly 'clean' movies are pretty much non-existent anymore. Even most animated films are loaded with disgusting 'toilet-humor' and/or sexual innuendo, like the Shrek films for example.

I think there is unintended innuendo in many kid's movies like the whole Jessica Rabbit flash in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the "preacher with the hard on" in The Little Mermaid or seeing the word "Sex" spelled out by the stars in the sky in The Lion King. Both of which were artist errors or inside jokes by them.
