Wonder Woman came out when I was like 10-13 years old, and let's face it, when your'e that age with the hormones raging, Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman is just 100% masturbation material

DC is like the Beatles, they appeal to the more intellectual, educated type of fans; Marvel is like The Rolling Stones who appeal to fans who like their more raw, sexual sound
Besides Batman, DC hasn't translated to the mainstream since the 80's (maybe Superman) while Marvel has. For me, Marvel has always been the powers didn't make the characters like it did for say Superman and Wonder Woman did. The X-Men had traces of racism and sexism and sexuality in there. Think about it, Professor Charles Xavier was basically Martin Luther King Jr. who wanted the X-Men to use their powers for good compared to Magneto's Malcolm X who wanted to eradicate humans. Then you have the legacy virus which was basically a social pandemic like AIDS were to the gay community. The subtext in Marvel is what I love about it. To me, DC doesn't have it besides Batman and to me, this is why besides Batman the larger public cannot really get into DC.

I have to agree. Who among the current ranks could even hold a candle? Someone mentioned Kristen Stewart, the perma-scowl. Uh, no effing way!

You guys do realize Wonder Woman has been cast, right? She's Gal Godot. Hopefully she'll work out a lot before shooting begins.

Hmmm.... That one looks a lot like Geena Davis. Geena is nice looking (and ya gotta love her high I.Q.!), but still can't hold a candle to Lynda!
