Looking over IMDB's Top 250:

--Inception.
--Up.
--Anything from Woody Allen.

I hate Interstellar and I haven't even seen it yet.

In general, the movies that win awards and lots of critical acclaim tend to be the ones I can't stand.

A film that has had a few mentions in this thread - The English Patient. I went expecting to see epic cinema. Bored me to tears.

The difference between taste and judgment emerges in this way: You can recognize that some films are good even if you don’t like them. You can declare Birth of a Nation or Citizen Kane or Persona an excellent film without finding it to your liking.

Gangs of New York

I love Scorcese, think he's brilliant, but this film lost me in it's cartoonish depiction of people, sometimes it almost seems like a musical the way everyone is moving together in sync in large set pieces. Hard to believe this is the same guy who did Raging Bull & Mean Streets.

Don't even get me thinking about Avatar or Titanic...

Raging Bull - I thought it would be similar to other movies with Robert DeNiro, lots of cursing, violence, Noo Yawk accents, and lots of action. The movie turned out to be slow paced, didnt have that much violence, and just mehhh. It's like expecting to take a shot of vodka only to find out that the bartender filled the glass with seltzer

Last of the Mohicans (1920 version) - I know it was from 1920, but still. I couldnt take Magua seriously, I think I could do makeup better than that

E.T. - I dont get the big deal of it, it was just...corny
