I just found out about her in June 2015. From the articles I have read, Lucky Torres is a homeless lesbian mother who lives in the South Bronx. She has given birth to two children, Sherice and Joziah. Sherice was the product of a rape that occurred when Lucky was fourteen. She lost her parental rights when Sherice was less than a year old. (There has been no suggestion of Joziah resulting from anything but consensual.) The striking feature about Lucky is that her entire body, including her face, is tattooed. She decided to get the tattoos because she believed she was unattractive and as a way of dealing with her pain. Would anyone care to share their opinions on the film?
I just looked this up, and I doubt you'd find anyone who'd seen it. As far as I can see, the movie has no major distributor, and looks as if it has never officially been released.

When I went to the website, I saw testimonials of people who had seen it. Just about everyone loved it. PBS apparently showed it in 2013. I didn't know about it then. But thank you for responding.
I bought the DVD. I implore you to watch this documentary. I love it!!!!
