I actually far prefer the original TV series. The movies are still fun, but they went out of their way to make Bean hyper-PG. The Bean of the TV show had a mean edge to him that made him even funnier.

Very funny movies. The one where he was preparing dinner and used pieces of onion with toothpicks as Horderves and got the turkey stuck on his head was hilarious. Mr. Bean in the kitchen, A recipe for disaster!

The series was the best. I didn't think the 1st movie quite had the spirit of the TV show but "Mr Bean's Holiday" definitely did. Guess it just ain't right if Bean isn't in Europe.

Mr Bean needs to stay in his loser flat in England. That's where he excels.

I think he's hilarious - in his English sitcoms. I don't much care for his movies or when he's trying to appeal to American humor. He excels in the original sitcoms.

I also think Rowan Atkinson is freaking HILARIOUS in Black Adder.
